Customer Synopsis:
Aviation – a medium sized scheduled and charter airline implemented DAXEAM in 2007. They recently upgraded to version 2009 and acted as a beta customer. The DAXEAM system recently identified a maintenance compliance issue with a scheduled outbound flight. The system warned the maintenance team and the problem was corrected before the flight left the ground.
Mining – often operating in remote sites with long lead times, mining customers rely heavily on supply chain management. One mining customer reports saving thousands each month by avoiding expedited purchases using DAXEAM. The combined force of DAXEAM’s forecasting engine and Dynamics AX logistics module ensures the parts you need are in stock but not in ‘over stock’.
Oil and Gas – producing oil and gas wells require regular maintenance for safety and regulatory compliance and to keep revenue flowing. DAXEAM has recently been deployed in several exploration and oil and gas companies around the world. Recently we replaced a market leading stand-alone CMMS system with our fully integrated DAXEAM maintenance system. The client is enjoying the added efficiencies and accuracy of having a single source, integrated maintenance solution.
Food Processing – one of our food processing customers runs multiple sites of DAXEAM and AX. By deploying multi-site capabilities in the 2009 version, they are now able to centrally build and control maintenance plans for all plants, ensuring corporate standards are adhered to and opportunities to gain cross plant efficiencies are exploited.
Pulp and Paper – one of our pulp and paper customers reports achieving greater efficiencies in the procure to pay cycle through DAXEAM’s integration to Dynamics AX requisition and workflow functionality. By integrating with Dynamics AX DAXEAM takes full advantage of the power of workflow and requisitions in AX 2009.
Chemical Processing – one chemical processing company who just went live on DAXEAM evaluated all the ‘market leaders’ along with other AX based solutions. The cost and inefficiencies associated with the market leading ‘best of breed’ solutions outweighed any perceived extra functionality, while the other ‘AX based’ solutions were not able to provide the functional depth or support that DAXEAM provides. DAXEAM implemented seamlessly into their existing AX installation.
Public Sector – a public sector DAXEAM customer reports cost savings over using a standalone CMMS – one of the market leaders in public sector CMMS solutions nonetheless. By sharing one set of inventory tables, one purchasing system and one enterprise wide workflow, DAXEAM and Dynamics AX bring new value to public sector clients who have invested in Dynamics AX.
